Jared started playing tennis at age 12 and has loved the sport ever since. He enjoys helping kids and adults learn and grow through tennis and has experience coaching in community centres, summer camps, and school programs. Jared continues to play competitively and brings energy, positivity, and encouragement to every session.

Kami is a Tennis Canada-certified instructor based on the North Shore. He began playing tennis at age of 10 and has actively participated in local leagues and tournaments throughout his life, including two years of collegiate tennis at Pierce College in California.

Kami has coached teens and served as a hitting partner for high-performance junior players. Fluent in both English and Farsi, he is committed to helping students improve their skills, whether just starting or looking to refine their game.

Viri has been an enthusiastic tennis player since she was 11 years old. She competed at a national level in Mexico, and was ranked #3 in U14's, before going on to play university level tennis. Viri is ready to share her knowledge and love for the sport, using her experience and expertise gained while coaching in the US and Mexico. 

Viri will carefully listen to your needs and help you reach your goals.

Kelly has played tennis since she was 8 years old, competed in many local tournaments for years as well as playing Open Level league on the North Shore. Kelly is a life-long student of the mind-body connection. She is a happy, positive person who is passionate about helping others learn and grow through movement. 

Kelly is passionate about coaching new players and creating a safe, fun and positive environment where they will learn, laugh and want to continue making fun memories playing tennis!

Sasha’s passion for tennis began in childhood, growing up in the vibrant community of Sunshine Hills Tennis Club. She started competing in Tennis BC tournaments at age 11 and moved into the open category around 14, embracing a more competitive level of play.

Her love for the sport naturally led her to coaching, where she has worked with players of all ages and many skill levels. She has previously coached at Sunshine Hills Tennis Club and The Tennis Centre. 

Sasha is enthusiastic and engaging, dedicated to helping players refine their skills while creating a fun and supportive learning environment.

Navid has been a key member of the CJTennis Team since 2020. He

is recognized as an experienced passionate tennis professional who displays the highest standard of conduct and service to tennis. Over the past 10 years he has played a significant role in player development and growth in tennis for communities across the lower mainland. Particularly in the North Shore and Coquitlam.

Adi has been a tennis coach for over a decade,  and she has been playing tennis since she was five. As a junior player she competed at the state level in Mexico, reaching a highest ranking of #5. Passionate and creative, Adi enjoys both her own physical training and teaching tennis, excelling particularly in the application of functional exercises in her instruction. 

Adi is a fun, energetic person who enjoys meeting new people.

Antonio began hsi tennis journey at the age of 11. He played NCAA D1 tennis in the US, before persuing a coaching career that has taken him to Brazil, Portugal, and the US.

Antonio is a fun and outgoing person who enjoys meeting new players from novice to elite levels. His dedication and excellent communication skills help him create a memorable, enjoyable, and safe learning environment.

Langley Volunteer

Ashwin began playing tennis at the age of 10 and has been training consistently for over 6 years. He joined CJTennis Coaching at 13, where he developed a strong foundation in technique, movement, and overall game understanding under the guidance of Jared.

Ashwin has a passion for teaching and enjoys working with younger players. Actively involved in community tennis, he finds fulfillment in helping others grow and takes pride in inspiring the next generation of players.

Langley Volunteer

Vishak began playing tennis at the age of 7 for enjoyment and started receiving coaching at the age of 10. At 11 years old, he won a doubles title at the G-VITA Tournament, which motivated him to pursue the sport more seriously. 

 At the age of 13, Vishak began training with Jared at CJTennis Coaching, where Jared played a key role in inspiring his passion for the sport. Through dedicated mentorship, Vishak developed greater confidence, discipline, and a stronger all-around game, allowing him to continue progressing both as a player and as a coach. 

North Vancouver Volunteer

Ronan has been playing tennis for a little over 2 years, under the guidance of our Head Pro Curtis. 

He regularly competes in local tournaments, and even teamed up with Curtis in the 2025 North Shore Tennis Society summer tournament men's 4.0, where they reached the final!

Ronan has a passion for tennis, if he isn't out on the court playing, he's probably watching old clips of Roger Federer!

He is now excited to assist at our junior program, to help pass on his knowledge to the younger generation.
