About the Jay Watcham Cup (2021-Present)
JAY WATCHAM CUP - CJTENNIS OPEN MEN'S SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP
The annual CJTennis Men's Singles Championship was first contested in 2021, with Saamy Phan winning the inaugural event. Curtis Austin currently holds the most titles, winning the tournament 3 times.
The tournament is summer long, with the group stages starting in June, before moving into the knockout rounds, culminating with the final contested in late August.
Prize Money and Awards to be won! The Champion takes home $500, and Runner-Up receives $100.
The trophy is named after Jay Watcham, Coach Curtis' best friend. Jay sadly passed away unexpectedly in 2019, at age 27. He was an avid tennis player and staple of his local community.
All entry fees are donated to SUPPORT DOGS UK, raising money for the training of epilepsy seizure alert dogs.
